What is the procedure?

Your Acupuncturist, Wendy LInd, will develop a treatment plan, taking your health history into account. She will select and identify specific acupoints for your specific needs. Hair thin needles are inserted and will be left in place for 5 to 40 minutes. The needles may be tapped on, or rotated.

The insertion of the needles does not hurt. At most you may feel a brief sensation similar to a mosquito bite. Needles will be inserted along various energy meridians in your body. They help stimulate various healing resources naturally available in your body. The treatment will reduce energy blockages and will release endorphins that will help alleviate pain.
